Transportation Instructions

Arriving in Taipei

By Taoyuan Airport MRT / TyMRT

Take Taoyuan Airport MRT at the Airport Terminal 1 Station (A12 Station) or Terminal 2 Station (A13 Station) to Taipei Main Station (A1 station). Take the eastbound train (either express train or commuter train is available) to Taipei. Ticket price is 160 NTD.

Option 1    Walk: Taipei Main Station to Hotels

Green World Hotel 洛碁中華大飯店 (for Grantees)

Get off the TyMRT at Taipei Main Station (A1) and through the underground walkway toward Songshan–Xindian/Green line Beimei Station (G13), Exit 2.

Walk alongside the Zhonghua Rd. and cross Zhongxiao W. Rd. (忠孝西路)/ Western Mainline (縱貫公路), the traffic is on your right.

Walk for 2 blocks. After across Hankou St. (漢口街), the Green World Hotel will be on your left. The Check-in desk is on the 13th floor.

Westgate Hotel 永安棧飯店 (for Admin Personnel)

Get off the TyMRT at Taipei Main Station (A1) and through the underground walkway toward Songshan–Xindian/Green line Beimei Station (G13), Exit 1.

Walk alongside the Zhonghua Rd. and cross Zhongxiao W. Rd. (忠孝西路)/ Western Mainline (縱貫公路), the traffic is on your right.

Walk for 2 blocks. After across Emei St. (峨眉街), the Westgate Hotel will be on your right.

Option 2    Taxi: Taipei Main Station to Hotels

From the TyMRT at Taipei Main Station (A1) to Green
World & West Gate Hotel should cost around NT$120.

Note:
1. We suggest you to exchange currency at the Taoyuan Airport for TyMRT ticket
2. We suggest you to bring your own umbrella or raincoat
3. You will receive a Taipei Metro Card (NT$200) + per diem (NT$400) for March 10 dinner upon registration

Departing Taipei

By Taoyuan Airport MRT / TyMRT

Walk to Taoyuan Airport MRT (TyMRT) Taipei Main Station (A1 station). Take the westbound train (either express train or commuter train is available) to the Airport Terminal 1 Station (A12 Station) or Terminal 2 Station (A13 Station). Ticket price is 160 NTD.

Or you can take taxi from Green World or Westgate Hotel to Taipei Main Station (機場捷運台北站), then board the TyMRT. The fare should cost around NT$120.

台北喜來登大飯店: 台北市忠孝東路一段12號

Go to Ximen MRT station.

Take the MRT Bannan line from Ximen Station (direction Nangang) to Shandao Temple Station.

Get off the Bannan line at Shandao Temple Station Exit 2.

The Sheraton Grand Taipei Hotel will be on your left hand side.

Bus (recommended):

Meet at the ground floor of Green World Hotel Zhonghua at 8:00 am (No.41, Sec. 1, Zhonghua Rd., Taipei 台北市中華路一段41號)

Metro:

Go to Ximen MRT station.

Take the MRT Bannan line
from Ximen Station (direction Nangang) to Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall Station (BL17).

Get off the Bannan line at Sun Yat-Sen Memorial Hall Station Exit 5.

Walk alongside Zhongxiao E. Rd. toward west then turn right at Guangfu South Road.

Turn right again at Yanchang Road, and the Taipei New Horizon Building will be on your right-hand side.

Go to Ximen MRT station.

Take the MRT Songshan-Xindian line from Ximen Station (direction Xindian) to Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall Station (G10). 

Get off the Songshan-Xindian line at Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall Station Exit 5.

Walk alongside Zhongshan South Rd. and pass the main gate of the Liberty Square and towards the East Gate (東門/景福門).

Walk across Xinyi Rd. the Evergreen International Convention Center (Chang Yung-fa Foundation) will be on your right hand side.
